The selection of antistatic coatings used in textile machinery industry and the physicochemical properties of surface antistatic coatings was expounded, and the test methods and acceptance standards of surface resistance value of antistatic coatings in textile machinery industry were put forward, which has been incorporated into the industry standard of FZ / T 90074“standard of textile machinery product coating”. Besides, the treatment methods and countermeasures for the problems occurred after the application of antistatic coating were proposed. After coating with antistatic coating, the coating had excellent mechanical properties, and the static charge was eliminated, which greatly reduced the production cost. The coating obtained good economic benefits and environmental friendliness, which enhanced the market competitiveness.
