Aiming at exploring the optimized process of trivalent chromium oxidation treatment process of 2024-T3 aluminum alloy, based on the existing oxidants’ ingredient and processing techniques and under the condition of determining the passivation solution formula, a three factor and three-level test scheme was designed by using the Box-Bohnken method in response surface analysis with employing the temperature, pH value and time of oxidation treatment as the influencing factors and taking the protection rating level as the response value for response surface analysis. Results showed that the process with the best protection rate level was the passivation temperature of 35 ℃, pH 3.9, and a passivation time of 10 minutes. After salt spray test for 168 h, the aluminum alloy plate with the appearance rating of 9 was obtained, which was consistent with the subsequent verification experiments results.
