Abstract

In this paper, the self-healing phenomena and mechanism of chromate, vanadate, titanium-zirconium, silicate, phytic acid and organic-inorganic compound conversion coating were reviewed. It was pointed out that variable metal ions and organic-inorganic compound conversion was one of the main development directions of conversion film with self-healing property.
