Analysis and Solution of Spot Imprinting Defect in Cathodic Electrophoresis

Abstract

Through the investigation of the spot imprinting defect of electrophoretic, the main reason found for the defect was that the phosphating film was not intact and there were speckles on its surface. The gantry type electrophoresis line phosphating system was improved and the resulting system consisted of phosphating tank body and tank bottom washing system, phosphating slag removal system, phosphating circulating heating system, side circulating system and tank outlet spraying system. This system was an independent and stable phosphating system. The overall circulating mixing speed of tank liquor, the mixing uniformity and the slag removal efficiency were significantly improved, and the phosphating film on the surface of the product was uniform and intact, which ensured the flatness and uniformity of the electrophoretic film, and effectively improved the product qualification rate.
