Abstract

Inorganic adhesive solid lubricant film could significantly reduce both the friction coefficient and the high temperature wear, then improve the transmission efficiency. In this paper, the structural characteristics and comprehensive properties of three types of inorganic binders of silicate, borate and phosphate were analyzed firstly, and then the research progress of phosphate bonded solid lubricant film for hot rolled seamless steel pipe was emphatically discussed. After that, the mechanisms of anti - friction and self - repairing of layered materials, fluorides, soft metals and oxides, inorganic oxygenates and self - healing lubricating additives, were further compared and analyzed. Finally, the development direction of inorganic bonded solid lubricant film was prospected.
