Abstract

Aluminum alloys have been widely used in the fields of marine vessels and ocean engineering equipment due to their excellent corrosion resistance and processability, along with inherent advantages such as light weight and high strength. As exploration of marine resources intensifies, the field of ships and marine engineering equipment is experiencing rapid development.Due to the uniqueness and complexity of the marine environment, aluminum alloys have the potential for extensive application in deep-sea and extreme conditions.Used as structural materials in deep-sea oil and gas exploration and polar navigation vessels, aluminum alloys are widely applied for their light weight and excellent corrosion resistance. However, numerous factors that corrode aluminum alloys pose significant challenges to the development of ships and ocean engineering equipment.Based on the latest research status at home and abroad,a comprehensive analysis was conducted on the types, corrosion types, corrosion monitoring technologies and corrosion protection technologies of aluminum alloys. The corrosion behavior and different anti-corrosion technologies of aluminum alloys in the marine environment were explored, providing reference for the future application of aluminum alloys in deep-sea or extreme marine engineering fields,as well as improving and enhancing the research of aluminum alloy anti-corrosion technology.
