Abstract

For exploring the influence of different energy density and different pulse width time on the temperature along the depth of theadhesive layer and the influence on the surface temperature, the finite element analysis software ABAQUS was employed to simulate the distribution of the temperature field in the adhesive layer during the process of high-current pulsed electron beam bombarding the surface of adhesive layer, and analyze the temperature field distribution under different conditions. Results showed that when the energy density was 4 J/cm2 and the pulse time was 6.0 μs, or when the energy density reached 6 J/cm2 and the pulse width was more than 1.5 μs, the adhesive layer could be partially melted to achieve the modification effect.
