Abstract

Inorganic binders have become a research hotspot in the field of anti-corrosive coatings due to their advantages in economy, environmental friendliness and practicality. In this paper, the preparation and properties of three commonly used inorganic binder anti-corrosive coatings, namely phosphate, silicate and silica sol, were reviewed. Firstly, the bonding mechanisms and adhesion film formation mechanisms of the three binders were clarified. Then, the synthesis, anti-corrosive properties and existing problems of three kinds of inorganic binder-based anti-corrosive coatings were discussed. Finally, the development trends and application prospects of inorganic binder anti-corrosive coatings were examined.
