Abstract

In order to investigate the influence of temperature, Cl concentration and flow rate on the corrosion behavior of L360M pipeline steel in saturated CO2 environment, an orthogonal test scheme was designed using the indoor coupon weight loss test method.Meanwhile, dynamic simulation tests were conducted using a collector type magnetic stirrer.Based on the results of orthogonal experiments, the main control factor was selected for single factor experiments and conducting electrochemical experiments. Results showed that the degree of influence of each factor on the corrosion rate of L360M pipeline steel in saturated CO2 environment was in the order of temperature >Cl concentration >flow rate. The effect of temperature on corrosion rate first increased and then decreased.Besides, the protective effect of corrosion product film on the metal substrate was related to the density, coverage and stability of the film layer.
